The title of your film is critically important to getting it noticed by viewers. Here's what we recommend:
1. title must be big, bold & easily read at thumbnail size (think IMDb image size)
2. don't use complex artwork or difficult to read fonts that make it difficult to read
3. ideally the title uses provocative words (e.g. "Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead" rather than "Unhealthy")
Q. I've heard that film titles do better when the begin with a number?
A. This may be the case with some cable VOD outlets with antiquated user interfaces (UI) that list film titles beginning with numbers before they list titles beginning with letters. But it's not the case with digital (online) VOD and as cable outlets improve their UI it will be a non-issue.
