Curated vs. Uncurated Streaming Services

Curated Streaming Services

Most of the streaming services we work with are Curated, meaning they select only the content they want from our catalog. The decision as to what titles to select and what titles to decline, is made by each of the respective curated streaming services in their sole discretion and based on their own internal criteria.

Once your title is QC approved, we start active marketing with all the curated streaming services. Whether or how long it takes for each of these streaming services to accept your title is out of our control, but we will do our best to increase the chance of your title getting selected.

Once your title is selected by a streaming service, we will deliver all assets as soon as possible.

Examples of curated streaming services:

  • Google Play
  • iTunes
  • Netflix
  • Hoopla Digital
  • Hulu
  • M-GO

Uncurated Streaming Services

Other streaming services are uncurated, meaning they accept all Kinonation content.

Once your title is QC approved, we start the process of delivering to all the uncurated streaming services that you have selected.

Examples of uncurated streaming services:

  • Amazon Video
  • Amazon Video Prime
  • Vimeo on Demand
